Release status

Surume Lite 0.1 is on the App Store, released September 24, 2026. Release news goes to Discord first.

Filing a useful report

Include your iOS version, device model, the Surume Lite version you are on, and the steps that lead to the problem. If it is a specific title, name it and say what happens and when. Attach the session log from the app's Documents folder if you have one.

Requirements

iOS 17.0 or later on a device with the A12 Bionic chip or later. On Mac, macOS 14.0 or later on Apple M1 or later. Games, BIOS files, and saves you add live in the app's own Documents folder.

PlayStation 2 games need a BIOS copied from a PS2 you own. Import it in Settings → PS2 → General → Import BIOS. PlayStation 3 games need Premium, decrypted dumps, and the PS3 system software. Install the firmware in Settings → PS3 → General → Install Firmware.

Purchases

Surume Lite is free and ad-supported. Premium, Remove Ads, subscriptions, and donations are handled by Apple. Donations do not unlock Premium. Restore a purchase in Settings → Premium, or reinstall with the same Apple Account you bought it with. Manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple Account settings. See the privacy policy for how the app handles data.

SharkPond account

The SharkPond account is optional and uses Sign in with Apple. Delete it in Settings → Accounts → Delete Account.

Legal

Surume Lite does not include games, firmware, BIOS files, or encryption keys. You provide your own files and are responsible for the content you import.
