About Surume Lite
Surume Lite is a PlayStation 2 & PlayStation 3 emulator for iPhone, iPad & Mac.
Features
- Two systems: PlayStation 2 and PlayStation 3 in one library. PlayStation 3 support is early.
- TV and handheld: Use it handheld on the go. Send video to a TV and the UI shifts to a wide console-style layout.

- In-game overlay: Saves and settings from an overlay without leaving the game.

- Friends: A SharkPond account, through Sign in with Apple, for friends, game invites, and trophies.
Bring Your Own Games
Import games from the Files app or with Share → Open in Surume Lite. PlayStation 2 games need a BIOS copied from a PS2 you own. PlayStation 3 games need decrypted dumps, the PS3 system software from PlayStation’s site, and RAP licenses from your own PS3 for licensed content. Surume Lite does not include games, BIOS files, or firmware.
Premium
Surume Lite is free. Premium and Remove Ads are one-time in-app purchases, and donation tiers are optional.
Premium removes ads and unlocks PlayStation 3, online play, TV play, Upscale Studio, and at least 10 save state slots with previews. Without Premium, a short ad unlocks save states. Achievements and friends stay free. Remove Ads only removes ads. Donations do not unlock Premium.
Subscriptions
- Premium Monthly: $1.49 per month. Removes ads and unlocks Premium while the subscription is active.
- Monthly Developer Donation: $0.99 per month. Optional support for development, no extra features.
- Monthly Developer Fund: $4.99 per month. Optional support for development, no extra features.
Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. A subscription renews for the same period unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage subscriptions and turn off auto-renew in Apple Account settings after purchase.

Legal & Licenses
Surume Lite does not include games, firmware, BIOS files, or encryption keys. You add your own files. Free users see ads served by Google AdMob. Premium and Remove Ads remove them. The privacy policy covers what the app collects.
Original source
PCSX2-derived code, used for PlayStation 2: GPL-3.0-or-later. RPCS3-derived code, used for PlayStation 3: GPL-2.0-only. Surume Lite-authored files use their per-file SPDX license, including GPL-3.0-or-later. Other bundled components keep their own licenses.
