Terms of Service

These terms cover Surume, its optional Shark Pond account, and the optional Discord account link. Using Surume means you accept them. Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to the app.

Your games and files

Surume includes no games, BIOS files, firmware, or encryption keys. Only load files you own and dumped yourself. You are responsible for the files you use.

Shark Pond accounts

An account is optional. Keep your sign-in private and pick a username that does not impersonate anyone or contain slurs, threats, or sexual content. You are responsible for what happens on your account.

Conduct

Do not harass, threaten, or abuse other players, share illegal content, cheat in ways that affect other players, spam, or try to break or overload Shark Pond servers. Report a player from their profile. We review reports and may remove content, suspend, or close accounts that break these rules.

Discord

Linking Discord is optional and uses Discord's own sign-in. Surume never sees your Discord password. Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines apply to anything you do on Discord. You can unlink at any time.

Purchases

Purchases and subscriptions are processed and refunded by Apple under the App Store's terms.

No warranty

Surume is provided as is. Emulation is not perfect and some games may not run. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost data, save files, or indirect damages from using the app.

Changes

We may update these terms. The effective date above shows the latest version. Continuing to use Surume after a change means you accept it.
