Terms of Service

These terms cover PlayPc and its optional SharkPond account. Using PlayPc means you accept them. Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to the app, except where these terms give you more rights.

Your games

PlayPc includes no games. Only play games you own and follow the terms of the store you got them from. You are responsible for the programs you run.

SharkPond accounts

An account is optional. Keep your sign-in private and pick a username that does not impersonate anyone or contain slurs, threats or sexual content. You can delete your account in the app at any time.

Purchases

PlayPc Full Access comes two ways: a one-time purchase that you keep, or PlayPc Full Access Weekly, an auto-renewing subscription. Both are processed and refunded by Apple under the App Store's terms.

PlayPc Full Access Weekly is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm it and renews every week at the same price unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current week. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the week ends. Manage or cancel the subscription in your Apple Account settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal; the current week stays active until it ends.

When you cancel, PlayPc gives you one extra week of Full Access after your paid week ends. This grace period does not renew your subscription or charge your Apple Account. Refunded, revoked and upgraded purchases do not receive this extension.

Open source libraries

PlayPc includes libraries under the GNU Lesser General Public License. You may modify PlayPc for your own use and reverse engineer it to debug such modifications, as those licenses require. The source code offer is on the support page.

No warranty

PlayPc is provided as is. Not every game runs, and how a game runs depends on the game and the device. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost data, saves, or indirect damages from using the app.

Changes

We may update these terms. The effective date above shows the latest version. Continuing to use PlayPc after a change means you accept it.
